People all around the world have pet peeves, here are some of Larned High schools staff and students. Throughout many interviews a pet peeve that was mentioned many times was people standing in the hallways talking or walking slowly. While many people have their individual pet peeves, many share a few in common.
While interviewing students and staff many pet peeves were brought up such as; bad work ethics, chewing loudly, being untruthful, and many more. Student Alexa Beltz stated “When people put fingerprints on freshly cleaned glass.” Another example of a pet peeve one individual might have that others do not. Everyone has their pet peeves including teachers, Coach Westerman stated “When students ask what are we doing today the second they walk into class”. Coach Keith mentioned people saying “I can’t do it” as one of his biggest pet peeves.
While interviewing teachers many pet peeves were brought up. One that was brought up by many of them was students lying or being untruthful. Another one was when they don’t put in the work to do an assignment or immediately say “I can’t do it” without trying first. Mr Apley stated “disregarding safety of themselves and others” While asking Mr. Leroy he expressed “when students have a group chat for cheating” *frowny face* Throughout the many students, staff, and coaches approached there were many different pet peeves brought up. Some pet peeves were closely related to one another and others were a class centered pet peeve. In conclusion everyone has their own pet peeves but many do not express them unless asked.
