The halls of Larned High School are filled with students just waiting for an opportunity to show their creativity. One outlet that LHS recently added was the high school’s T-shirt company, Indian Ink. Indian Ink makes T-shirt designs for many different activities. Whether it is the many clubs and organizations that the high school has to offer or a sports team ready to make a team shirt, the students running Indian Ink always have their work cut out for them.
Ran by business teacher Mrs. Stahlecker, Indian Ink is in great hands and continues to grow with new and creative ideas. Although the class is open to all students, there is an application process. Students must demonstrate their ability to complete tasks and produce high-quality products while meeting quality and quantity requirements.
Because of the unique audition process to get into the class, students are excited about the opportunity to join. One student, Taten Renolds, is hoping to find time in her schedule to take Indian Ink and show off all of her creative vibes! In an interview, she stated, “I am really excited to join Indian Ink and see what all we can accomplish.”
Looking ahead to the future, it is clear to see that Indian Ink is not planning on slowing production down! With new products consistently being presented to the student body and fresh ideas being brought in by new freshmen, the company is sure to do great things!
